The 2018 Women in Travel Awards have been announced and, once again, the TIME network was well represented.
The gala event ceremony took place at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney’s Pyrmont.
The Women in Travel Awards program recognises exceptional women who have achieved success in their professional arenas and celebrates their contributions through their leadership, innovation and courage.
And it just so happens that many of those women are also part of the TIME network.
One of the biggest awards of the night, Entrepreneur of the Year, went to the brilliant Jacqui Walshe.
“It feels like the travel industry is evolving in a really positive way”, said Jacqui reflecting on the awards night.
“Women have always been a big part of the industry, so being recognised for entrepreneurship amongst a group of high achieving and powerful women leaders is special and not just personally. The fact that so many of the TIME names featured in the awards, with Penny Spencer highly ranked as always, also confirms that the mentoring program is being supported by women in the industry who are genuine about leaning in and sharing their success”, she concluded.
To top things off, no fewer than NINE TIME mentors were named on the 2018 Women in Travel Power List:
- Gai Tyrell
- Penny Spencer
- Ann Elliott
- Jacqui Timmins
- Jacqui Walshe
- Alex O’Connor
- Kaylene shuttlewood
- Sarah Built
- Fiona Dalton
Congratulations, everyone!
